Position Overview – Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT)
The Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT) is responsible for compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceuticals. This role involves handling moderately complex to complex issues where a thorough evaluation of multiple factors is required. The Senior Retail Pharmacist prepares and maintains all necessary records for prescriptions, patient charges, and inventory management, while also providing valuable information to senior team members about pharmaceuticals.
In addition to interacting directly with patients, the Senior Retail Pharmacist begins to influence departmental strategy, making decisions on technical approaches for project components. Work is carried out with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility in determining objectives and methods for achieving assignments.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience.

Active licensure with the appropriate state Board of Pharmacy.

As this is a patient-facing role, participation in Humana/Senior Bridge’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program is required.

Pay Range: $104,000 – $143,000 per year (compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications).
