 What You’ll Do as a Complex Care Assistant

As a Complex Care Assistant, your role will vary depending on your client’s needs. You’ll provide companionship, emotional support, and practical assistance in your client’s home and out in the community. Duties include:

  • Complex moving and handling

  • Preparing nutritious, homecooked meals

  • Personal care and medication support

  • Household chores and errands

  • Accompanying your client on shopping trips and social outings

  • Providing catheter and Peristeen care (full training provided)

Complex Care Assistant Job Overview

  • Location: Thanet, Kent

  • Hourly Rate: £15.00 to £16.83

  • Shifts: Part-time, flexible shifts (4 to 48 hours), including weekends and nights

  • Contract Type: Zero hours

  • Driving Licence: Full UK licence required (to drive a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle)

Eligibility: Previous care experience essential. Must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship unavailable.
