About the Role
Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help deliver exceptional patient care while supporting the overall efficiency and success of the Occupational Therapy Department. You’ll play a key part in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation Services, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the coordination and daily operations of the Occupational Therapy Department.

Conducting patient evaluations and delivering individualized treatments.

Collaborating with other departments to support comprehensive care plans.

Organizing staff development initiatives and maintaining department records.

Managing therapy equipment and supplies.

Performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications

Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university (required).

Licensure/Certifications:
-
Active Occupational Therapy License in Ohio in accordance with OT/PT/AT licensing regulations.

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Current CPR certification.

Experience:
-
Experience preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Skills:
-
Knowledge of therapy equipment and modalities.

Ability to treat a broad range of injuries and conditions.

Quick response in emergency situations.

Proficient with goniometers, dynamometers, cognitive/perceptual testing, and sensory evaluations.

Understanding of age-specific care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
