We are currently seeking Assistant Health Services Administrators who are passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare in a correctional setting.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Health Services Administrator plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of healthcare delivery within the facility, including clinical, administrative, pharmacy, and support services. This individual ensures operational excellence while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage clinical, administrative, pharmacy, and medical support services.

Provide clear direction, accountability, and leadership to healthcare staff.

Analyze healthcare and financial data to identify trends and advise leadership.

Maintain strong working relationships with facility personnel, nursing staff, contracted providers, hospitals, accrediting bodies, and public health agencies.

Support long- and short-term planning for healthcare operations and policy implementation.

Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance in accordance with company policies.

Ensure staff certifications and licensure are current and compliant.

Monitor and manage healthcare budgets, providing financial guidance to leadership.

Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits, creating and overseeing corrective action plans as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, or business-related field required.

Advanced degree and current licensure in a healthcare-related discipline preferred.

Active professional licensure or certification required.

Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in a healthcare setting.

Solid understanding of correctional healthcare practices, facility procedures, staff supervision, and healthcare management principles.
