Role Overview:
As a Pharmacist at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital, you will be licensed by the California State Board of Pharmacy and work under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and/or Senior Pharmacists. In this role, you will oversee daily drug distribution activities and contribute to clinical initiatives. You will review and validate medication orders to ensure safe medication use, act as a drug information resource for patients, medical and nursing staff, and other departments, and compound and dispense medications for patient care.
Qualifications:

Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of California (required)

At least one (1) year of pharmacy experience (preferably institutional) or completion of an institutional pharmacy residency or Pharm.D. degree (required)

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required)

Basic computer skills (preferred)

Experience with automated pharmacy systems (electronic order entry, barcoding, automated medication dispensing, and electronic documentation) (preferred)

Proficiency in aseptic techniques and use of IV Laminar Flow Hood (preferred)
Hours:
This is a per diem position with variable shifts, including morning, evening, or night shifts.
