About the Job

This is an exempt leadership role aligned with the mission and values of Four Rivers Community Health Center. The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across the clinic, including supervising front desk functions, coordinating with the billing department, managing provider and clinical staff, and supporting marketing and public relations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision and support to Patient Service Representatives, nursing, and dental staff.

  • Handle hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, PTO coordination, timesheet approvals, and provide coverage as needed for the front desk.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Medical Services to manage provider PTO, training, and ensure consistent schedule coverage.

  • Work jointly with leadership to design and maintain effective scheduling templates that promote access and high-quality care.

  • Conduct ongoing training for front desk, nursing, and dental teams on scheduling systems and protocols.

  • Serve as the primary resource for front desk workflows and EMR troubleshooting and training.

  • Partner with quality, risk, and finance leaders to develop, implement, and refine clinic workflows and procedures.

  • Monitor and improve patient satisfaction through feedback tools and surveys.

  • Coordinate with the Billing Manager regarding collections, patient balances, and payment plan processes.

  • Work closely with the Credentialing Specialist on insurance credentialing requirements.

  • Ensure front desk compliance with HRSA guidelines and organizational policies on sliding fee schedules, payment plans, and balance collection.

  • Act as the clinical site lead in collaboration with the Quality Manager and Director of Medical Services for Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) transformation efforts.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience is preferred but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities are essential.

  • Demonstrated willingness to grow professionally and contribute to organizational development.
