MultiCare’s legacy in the Pacific Northwest began in 1882 with the establishment of Tacoma’s first hospital. Key Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications and interpret IV admixture orders; prepare primary IV solutions as required.

Compound non-standard pharmaceutical formulations and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.

Oversee pharmacy support staff, ensuring the accuracy of all work through a final verification process.

Conduct inspections of pharmaceutical inventory across departments to maintain compliance and readiness.

Promote the safe and effective provision of pharmaceutical care services in alignment with best practices.
Qualifications

Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency preferred.

Active pharmacist license in the State of Washington.

A minimum of one (1) year of relevant pharmacy experience (hospital, retail, clinic, or similar setting) preferred.
