About the Job: Information Security Analyst I

Join the United Center team and help protect the excitement we bring to over 70 million fans annually as the home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks, hosting 200+ events each year. As an Information Security Analyst I, you’ll be on the front line, monitoring and responding to security incidents and threats with a proactive and analytical approach. This hybrid role involves validating alerts, investigating incidents, managing security tools, collaborating with external partners, and maintaining security plans. You’ll also contribute to improving our security posture by recommending strategies, managing projects, staying current on threats, and participating in third-party assessments.

What you’ll do:

  • Validate and resolve security threats, investigate incidents, and manage vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee internal security tools and collaborate with external partners.
  • Maintain and update security response plans and documentation.
  • Establish and modify IT security controls, processes, and procedures, working with teams to implement them.
  • Provide cybersecurity recommendations, manage security projects, and stay informed on emerging threats.
  • Participate in third-party security assessments.

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of cybersecurity experience with a strong understanding of principles, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Experience in incident detection, analysis, and response, with knowledge of threats, attack methods, and mitigation techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation & Benefits: The annual pay range for this role is $65,000-$85,000, with the actual offer based on your unique skills and experience.
