Position Overview: Remote Customer Support Specialist – CPAP Centralized Care Team
We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our CPAP Centralized Care Team. This is a fully remote position with work hours from Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. CST. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for new customers, supporting patient care coordination and third-party reimbursement through accurate data processing and exceptional service.
Starting Pay: $16.25/hour + Quarterly Bonus Potential
Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer support via phone and electronic communication

Conduct insurance verifications and eligibility checks

Accurately process new patient orders and collect required documentation

Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and empathy

Coordinate with field locations to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment

Maintain data integrity and compliance with HIPAA regulations

Complete patient satisfaction calls and advocate for service excellence

Stay current on industry regulations, company policies, and medical product knowledge

Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency

Support quality assurance checks for medical documentation and billing
Required Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
1–3 years of relevant experience in a customer support or medical administrative role

Strong communication skills—verbal and written
-
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and solve problems efficiently

Familiarity with medical billing practices and terminology is a plus
-
Experience in handling sensitive and confidential patient information
Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Competence with standard office equipment (fax, printer, phone, etc.)

Comfortable navigating email and internet research tools
