Your Role as a Logistics Operations Technician

What a Logistics Operations Technician Does

As part of the DACW (Dynamic Automated Compact Warehouse) team, you’ll ensure seamless pallet movement from converting lines to loading bays. You’ll monitor systems, troubleshoot faults, and perform repairs on both electrical and mechanical systems to maintain efficient flow throughout the warehouse. Working at heights is part of the job—but don’t worry, we provide full safety and rescue training.

Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Operations Technician

  • Monitor and operate DACW systems to transport pallets efficiently

  • Respond quickly to electrical/mechanical issues

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks: clean, inspect, lubricate conveyors

  • Assist with shift reports, housekeeping, and quality checks

  • Work flexibly across different operations based on team needs

  • Ensure accurate documentation and implement long-term solutions to prevent repeated issues

Who We’re Looking For

Skills & Qualities Every Logistics Operations Technician Should Have

  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Engineering (preferably electrical)

  • Forklift license (preferred but not essential)

  • Confident working at height (training provided)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, WMS

  • Ability to train, coach, and follow instructions effectively
