Join PD&MS as an Offshore Construction Supervisor
PD&MS is seeking a dedicated Offshore Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage offshore construction projects, including structural, piping, HVAC, hydraulics, electrical and instrumentation, rigging, and scaffolding. The Offshore Construction Supervisor will ensure all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with PD&MS’s quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with onshore and offshore teams, including SHE Advisors and Planners, to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and plans. Candidates should possess a strong construction background with expertise in Construction Work Pack Close Out and Certification. The position requires 10 days in the client office and one 21-day offshore trip.
Key Responsibilities of the Offshore Construction Supervisor

Communicate safety expectations clearly and challenge unsafe activities.

Lead site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-shift briefs.

Promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example.

Participate in construction campaign risk assessments.

Review and implement construction work packages.

Attend onshore design and constructability reviews.

Inspect and release offshore construction materials and equipment.

Ensure all materials required for offshore installation are verified for completeness.

Identify and requisition necessary tools, equipment, and consumables.

Conduct pre-mobilization briefings with third-party personnel and vendors.

Coordinate with client representatives to ensure SIMOPS are addressed.

Formulate permits to work and assist with lift plans and isolation scopes.

Provide progress reports and prepare site queries, ensuring close-out coordination with onshore engineering.

Liaise with specialist vendors for construction activities.

Complete redlining of key documents and ensure work pack certification is as-built and approved.

Adhere to the company’s integrated management system and comply with quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental policies.

Provide feedback for third-party personnel and vendors.

Participate in detailed offshore constructability reviews and develop comprehensive reports with recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience for Offshore Construction Supervisor

Time-served or Modern Apprenticeship approved by City & Guilds or NVQ/SVQ Level 3, or 10 years of relevant experience.

Relevant Completions Certificate (e.g., GoC/Orbit).

IOSH Managing Safely in the Engineering Construction Industry or equivalent.

Valid offshore certification.

Minimum of 5 years’ offshore experience in a supervisory role.
