Inventory Reporting Analyst
As our Inventory Reporting Analyst, you will be crucial in the ongoing production of regular inventory reports, providing detailed insights into results, metrics, and ad-hoc requests. You will also manage the semi-annual Physical Inventories, including setup, data validation, reporting, and cut-off procedures. Month-end close responsibilities include compiling, posting, and validating journal entries, along with handling ad-hoc inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy. You’ll also evaluate and improve our inventory control systems and reports.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and distribute various scheduled inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and Physical Inventory flash reports.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support partner teams.
- Manage inventory control reconciliations and reporting for auditors.
- Oversee the semi-annual Physical Inventory process from start to finish.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing reporting procedures and participate in system implementations.
What You’ll Need:
- BS degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
- Strong analytical and PC skills (Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential).
- Ability to adapt to change, handle multiple priorities, and work independently within deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- PeopleSoft and Retek system knowledge (helpful).
- Retail and inventory experience (a plus).
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $68,640 – $97,450 annually, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location. This range is part of our total compensation package, which varies by position and location.
