As a Finance Manager – Capital and Planning, you will:

  • Coordinate and develop the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) and long-term Capital Programme.

  • Work closely with senior leaders, providing expert advice on financial strategy and resource allocation.

  • Support financial reporting processes, ensuring transparency and accuracy across all planning activities.

  • Play a key role in the rollout of the new finance system, enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, offering clear communication and strategic financial guidance.

  • Influence decision-making by providing detailed financial analysis and reports.
