Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care Assistance: Aid with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.

Mobility & Safety: Assist with patient mobility, including ambulation, transfers, and light exercises to promote mobility and prevent falls.

Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in the patient’s health status or behavior to nursing supervisors.

Daily Living Support: Help with feeding, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and running errands as needed.

Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide social interaction, encouragement, and companionship to enhance the patient’s overall well-being.

Compliance & Safety: Follow care plans, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure infection control procedures are consistently followed.
Qualifications for the Home Health Aide (HHA) Role:

Education & Training: Successful completion of a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) training program.

Certification: Active New Jersey Home Health Aide certification required.

Experience: Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or caregiving is preferred but not necessary.

Skills & Attributes: Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans independently.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client homes within the region.
