Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst
Tyto Athene (Fort Meade, MD – Onsite)
Join Tyto Athene at Fort Meade, MD, supporting DISA’s Defense Enclave Services contract to ensure the integrity and security of global cyber systems and networks. As a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing secure privileged access management solutions and ensuring compliance with DoD RMF and NIST cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement secure privileged access management frameworks and procedures.
- Ensure alignment of security solutions with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards.
- Support security audits, accreditation processes, and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance access control mechanisms.
- Evaluate the implementation of system patches and vulnerability fixes within the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
- Guide the establishment of effective operational structures and processes for boundary defense, incident detection, and response.
- Assess system performance against test results and provide recommendations for RMF decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of information assurance (IA) security procedures and safeguards.
- Develop IA-related customer support policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assess the security vulnerabilities of Automated Information Systems (AIS).
- Recommend and implement IT system changes in accordance with DoD directives.
- Develop IA policy and guidance, and establish plans for RMF compliance implementation and oversight.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (CASP+ CE, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CND, CySA+, GCED, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols and ports, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements.
- Familiarity with Anti-Virus, HIPS/HBSS, IDS/IPS, Full Packet Capture, Network Forensics, and analyzing complex technical reports.
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
