JT4 provides specialized engineering and technical support to a range of western test facilities used by the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and U.S. Navy through the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). The facilities supported include:

About the Job
JT4 is proud to partner with the U.S. Department of Defense’s SkillBridge Program, offering a 16-week Front-End Developer Internship designed specifically for military personnel transitioning to civilian life. This opportunity is available exclusively to service members during their final six months of active duty.
About the Program
This hands-on internship provides participants with structured on-the-job training under the guidance of JT4’s senior technical experts. Interns will follow a comprehensive training plan outlining weekly tasks and objectives to build essential front-end development skills and prepare for potential full-time employment with JT4.
Note: While the program is structured to lead to full-time employment, JT4 is under no obligation to offer a permanent role.

Internship Responsibilities
Under supervision, interns will support front-end development tasks including:

Assisting in technical research and information gathering

Developing and modifying web-based applications based on project requirements

Performing front-end programming and design tasks
-
Supporting user interface improvements and debugging efforts
-
Participating in design reviews and progress presentations
-
Preparing technical reports and documentation
-
Staying current on standards, codes, and best practices in engineering and web development
Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
-
Basic understanding of engineering principles and front-end development
-
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks

Strong analytical and organizational skills
-
Ability to follow instructions, work under deadlines, and contribute to team efforts

U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract work
