We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team at Horizon Community College in Barnsley (S70 6PD). This part-time role offers £12.82 per hour and covers 12 hours per week: Monday to Thursday (6:00–8:30 AM) and Friday (6:00–8:00 AM). As a Cleaner/Housekeeper, you’ll become part of a team delivering essential services that directly impact the health and wellbeing of students and staff. Working with Amey, you’ll help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming school facilities that support effective learning. This role is perfect for someone punctual, reliable, and eager to make a real difference in their community.

Your Role as a Cleaner/Housekeeper at Horizon Community College

As a Cleaner/Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering cleaning services that meet contractual standards

  • Managing stock levels and ordering cleaning consumables

  • Operating machinery safely according to provided training

  • Maintaining hygiene and safety across the premises

  • Supporting Amey’s zero-carbon goals through sustainable practices

  • Complying with health and safety protocols across the site
