In this volunteer role, you’ll guide a group of 11-16-year-olds, supporting them with essential life skills like communication, problem-solving, and goal-setting. Role Overview for Education Mentor – Birmingham (Volunteer)
Your Responsibilities as an Education Mentor – Birmingham (Volunteer)

Facilitate 8 mentoring sessions for 11-16-year-olds, focusing on communication, goal setting, and problem-solving.

Help create a supportive environment where young people can grow and engage with the curriculum.

Build meaningful connections with your group of students, tracking their progress over time.

Attend sessions regularly and engage in pre-planning to ensure the sessions are productive.
What We’re Looking for in an Education Mentor – Birmingham (Volunteer)

Strong communication skills to engage with both young people and team members.

Commitment to 2 hours of in-person training and some virtual training.
