In this role, you will provide both online and in-person training, covering everything from employability skills to accredited qualifications like Food Safety and Customer Service. Key Responsibilities of the Trainer Role

As a Trainer, your core duties will include:

  • Delivering accredited training in areas like Licensing, Food Safety, and Customer Service.

  • Conducting practical skills workshops in hospitality, including bar service, floor management, and cocktails/mocktails.

  • Helping participants, especially those facing barriers to employment, gain the necessary skills for successful careers.

  • Travelling to schools, employability venues, and industry locations to deliver engaging and impactful training.

A Day in the Life of a Trainer

Your role will involve:

  • Traveling to various schools to provide training as part of career and education activities.

  • Visiting industry venues, such as hotels, to conduct training sessions for employability courses.

  • Delivering accredited qualifications and practical workshops, helping participants excel in their exams and hands-on practice.

  • Constantly updating training materials to stay aligned with current industry trends and employer needs.

Skills and Qualifications for the Trainer Role

To excel as a Trainer, you will need:

  • Professional training qualifications like PTTLS, AET Level 3, or Group Training, along with certifications in Personal Licensing, Food Safety Level 3, and Customer Service/WorldHost.

  • Experience in mentoring and training in the hospitality and tourism sectors, particularly in a Food & Beverage setting.

  • Ability to deliver training in both online and in-person formats.

  • Strong digital skills and the ability to manage CRM systems effectively.
