Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets Focus – Starkey (Eden Prairie, MN)
Starkey, a global leader in hearing technology, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage and optimize our fixed asset processes at our Eden Prairie, MN headquarters. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring accounting compliance, and providing strategic insights into asset management and capital expenditures.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the fixed asset register (acquisitions, disposals, transfers).
- Calculate and record depreciation and amortization schedules (US GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
- Reconcile fixed asset accounts with the general ledger.
- Prepare detailed fixed asset reports for financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with other departments to track and validate physical assets.
- Analyze capital expenditures for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Manage compliance with regulatory requirements (tax reporting, audits).
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and the tax team regarding fixed assets.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for fixed asset accounting and reporting.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and fixed asset modules.
- Prior experience in a multi-entity organizational structure (preferred).
- Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow complex instructions.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,460 – $102,900 per year (commensurate with experience, skills, and location).

- This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
