We are East Sussex MSK Community Partnership (ESMSK), based in Eastbourne, and we’re excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Patient Administrator to join our dedicated healthcare team. This Patient Administrator role plays a vital part in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient journey, supporting care delivery from initial GP referral through to final treatment. This is a permanent, part-time position (22.5 hours per week) where you’ll contribute to making a real difference in people’s lives by providing top-quality administrative support across our clinical pathways.

Join Our Team as a Patient Administrator

Your Role as a Patient Administrator

As a Patient Administrator, you’ll play a central role in maintaining a seamless experience for patients by:

  • Communicating with patients via telephone and email throughout their entire care journey

  • Coordinating appointments, diagnostics, and clinical correspondence

  • Ensuring timely updates and access to all required clinical notes for healthcare providers

  • Managing internal systems to track and support patient care pathways

You’ll also collaborate closely with clinicians, resolve queries promptly, and help ensure service excellence.

What We’re Looking For in a Patient Administrator

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong administrative experience in a fast-paced setting

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and IT systems

  • Ideally has experience with ERS and System One (preferred, not essential)

  • Brings knowledge or experience from a healthcare administration background

Job Details

  • Location: Eastbourne

  • Hours: Permanent, part-time (22.5 hours/week)

  • Salary: £23,809.50 per annum (Pro-rata £14,285.70)

  • Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship
