We’re offering an exciting IT Student Placement opportunity within our central support team at Butlin’s. This one-year placement is perfect for university students currently pursuing an IT-based degree. You’ll gain practical experience in IT systems support, application development, and business process improvement, while working across various IT specialisms. Key Responsibilities:

IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and system-related issues across resort departments. -
Web & Application Development
Assist the IT team with system updates, application testing, and user feedback analysis to improve performance and usability. -
Systems Improvement
Contribute to enhancing internal business processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing IT-based solutions. -
Documentation & Reporting
Create and update technical documentation, user manuals, and internal IT knowledge bases to support smoother operations. -
Project Involvement
Support small-scale IT and software projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
Candidate Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a university degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Some experience or knowledge in programming, web development, or system support.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A problem-solving mindset and willingness to take initiative.
