As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent service across our restaurant, coffee bar, and event spaces. Located on Newgate Street, our hotel is perfectly situated for guests exploring Newcastle. With 265 stylish rooms and a vibrant dining experience at Grain & Grill, we offer a warm, welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Responsibilities of a Food & Beverage Assistant
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will:

Greet and serve guests with a warm, professional attitude

Deliver food and beverage service in our restaurant, courtyard, and meeting rooms

Recommend dishes and drinks confidently based on guest preferences

Help maximise sales through up-selling and menu knowledge

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your service area
Qualifications – Food & Beverage Assistant
To succeed as a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll ideally have:

Prior hotel or restaurant experience in a fast-paced setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Fluent English and a helpful, customer-focused mindset
-
Experience using Micros system (preferred but not required)
