Opportunity: Lead and manage Primary Care services at the Sanford Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), part of the Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System. This role involves overseeing clinical operations and supervising providers to ensure high-quality, accessible care for Veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily Primary Care operations, ensuring efficient workflow and patient access (in-person and virtual).
- Supervise Sanford CBOC Primary Care providers, including performance management (reviews, OPPE/FPPE), scheduling, and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing, pharmacy, specialty care, and leadership teams.
- Uphold clinical excellence based on evidence-based standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Possess broad clinical knowledge to provide guidance and potentially teach/mentor trainees.
- Manage administrative tasks related to staff oversight (timecards, leave, training).
Qualifications:
- Required: US Citizenship (exceptions possible); MD/DO degree; Current, full, unrestricted medical license (any US state); Completion of accredited US residency training leading to board certification eligibility (IM/FM preferred).
