Key Role of a Multiple Sclerosis Administrator
Core Responsibilities for the Multiple Sclerosis Administrator Role
As a Multiple Sclerosis Administrator, you will support the MS Nursing Team by managing incoming referrals, coordinating clinic schedules, and providing audio typing support. You’ll handle patient and staff queries, maintain accurate records, and ensure care pathways are properly updated. The role is based on-site and requires excellent organizational skills and adaptability within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Multiple Sclerosis Administrator

Receive and process referrals for the MS nursing team and ensure timely triage by clinicians

Manage day case patient bookings, ensuring admission and discharge occur on the same day

Maintain clinic schedules, ensuring efficient slot usage and priority for urgent patients

Organize ad hoc, overbooked, rescheduled, or canceled clinics as directed by nurses

Ensure accuracy in RTT (Referral to Treatment) patient pathway tracking

Update patient records with follow-ups, investigations, and communications

Respond promptly to patients and staff via phone, email, or post

Provide typing support for clinical and ad hoc letters, meeting the 5-day turnaround target
