About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be an integral part of our hospice care team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. In this role, you will provide essential personal care services to support patient comfort, dignity, and safety. You’ll monitor patient conditions, document services delivered, and communicate observations to the clinical team—all while helping create a compassionate and supportive environment.


Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and a high school graduate or equivalent

  • Currently certified as a State Registered Nurse Aide through the State Board of Nursing

  • Completion of an approved CNA training program

  • One year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred

  • Ability to read and follow care instructions and accurately document services provided

  • Strong references from previous employers

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Compassionate and empathetic toward individuals who are ill, frail, or facing terminal illness

  • Familiarity with the philosophy of hospice care

  • Demonstrates professionalism, patience, tact, and good hygiene

  • If choosing to drive for work-related duties, must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain appropriate insurance in accordance with state laws

  • Must comply with employee health and infectious disease policies, including vaccination requirements
