Dr Telx, a premier national telehealth network, is expanding its dedicated team of clinicians. We are seeking compassionate and skilled medical professionals (MD, DO, or NP) to provide crucial Suboxone treatment for patients battling opioid use disorder (OUD). This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in addiction medicine within a flexible, remote telehealth environment, contributing significantly to patients’ recovery journeys.
Your Impact & Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will be instrumental in delivering accessible, high-quality care. Your core responsibilities will involve:
- Delivering Specialized Treatment: Providing Suboxone treatment directly to patients via our secure telehealth platform, supporting their path to recovery.
- Conducting Comprehensive Evaluations: Performing synchronous (real-time) clinical evaluations to assess patient needs and suitability for Suboxone therapy.
- Thorough Patient Review: Meticulously reviewing patient-submitted intake forms and detailed clinical histories to inform treatment decisions.
- Evidence-Based Prescribing: Prescribing Suboxone when clinically appropriate, strictly adhering to established evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications):
We seek dedicated professionals who embody:
- Patient-Centered Approach: A genuine passion for patient well-being, demonstrated through an excellent “bedside manner” even in a virtual setting.
- Required Licensure & Certification: Current and unrestricted license as an MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), or NP (Nurse Practitioner) with the necessary authorization and experience to prescribe Suboxone.
- Telehealth Proficiency: Comfort and competence in utilizing telehealth platforms and digital health tools for patient interaction and care delivery.
- Commitment to Accessibility: A willingness to become licensed in additional states to expand patient access to care (assistance with this process can be provided).
What Dr Telx Offers You:
- Competitive Compensation: Earn between $1,500.00 and $15,000.00 per month (Employer Estimated Range: $2,000 – $15,000 per month). This is a contract position.
