Position Summary
As our Ambulatory Surgery Center continues to grow with the addition of six new operating rooms, Vancouver Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Circulator to join our surgical services team. This role is vital to supporting our expanded service lines, which include multi-specialty outpatient procedures, pediatrics, and robotic-assisted surgeries. The OR Circulator will work directly with the surgical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure safety throughout the perioperative process.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures

Apply the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to ensure optimal outcomes

Maintain strict adherence to surgical asepsis and infection control practices

Track and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout procedures

Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other care team members
Qualifications

Current and unencumbered Washington State RN license required

Experience in operating room nursing (circulating and scrub) preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire)

CNOR certification and conscious sedation experience are desirable

Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in dynamic situations
