About the Role
As a Plant Accountant, you will support core accounting functions including payroll, inventory control, fixed asset oversight, and monthly financial reporting. This role combines independent tasks with cross-functional collaboration across departments and locations, offering valuable experience in GAAP and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees at two sites

Manage inventory compliance and lead cycle counts per Masco policy

Oversee fixed asset tracking and internal controls

Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports

Post journal entries and conduct expense analysis

Generate standard financial reports and support cross-departmental requests

Maintain SOX compliance and contribute to audit readiness

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as needed
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
-
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing

Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and SAP experience a plus

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
