Position: Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in the financial reporting and close processes, with a strong focus on fixed assets and prepaid expenses. You will ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to a high-performing, fast-paced finance organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Oversee all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, transfers, depreciation, impairments, and retirements.

  • Prepare monthly fixed asset rollforwards and reconcile subledger to general ledger.

  • Handle prepaid expense accounting (e.g., insurance, software licenses), including journal entries and amortization schedules.

  • Process and audit international employee reimbursement claims to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.

  • Assist with tax accruals, intercompany transactions, GR/IR, and other general accounting tasks.

  • Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.

  • Perform SOX compliance activities in designated accounting areas.

  • Collaborate with departments such as FP&A, People Operations, Accounts Payable, and Technical Accounting to support accurate and timely financial reporting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Skills

  • Experience at a Big 4 firm or in a public company setting

  • ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

  • Familiarity with Blackline reconciliation software

  • Experience with system implementations or UAT testing


Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $120,040 – $130,600
    Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
