Overview:
FlexTrade Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage key areas of the monthly close, financial reporting, and technical accounting processes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting audits, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage components of the month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Analyze financial results for accuracy and completeness

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data

Support external audits, tax filings, and internal reporting for corporate stakeholders

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages

Assist with the development and documentation of accounting policies

Stay up to date on GAAP changes and best practices

Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA preferred, but not required
-
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience (public accounting, internal audit, or public company financial reporting)

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AP/AR, and their impact on cash flow and reporting

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)

Advanced Excel skills

Background in SaaS, FinTech, or tech industry a plus
