Warwickshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Team member to support children with complex needs and their families. As part of our passionate team, you’ll work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for vulnerable children. About the Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Team
Our team focuses on supporting children with complex and profound needs resulting from disabilities. We collaborate with families and professionals to conduct Family Help Assessments and work with Children in Need, those under Child Protection Plans, and Children in Care. Our multi-disciplinary approach ensures comprehensive support for children and their families.

Location & Working Pattern

Based at our Hillary Road Office in Nuneaton.

Working hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday; 9am – 5pm on Fridays.

Occasional work outside these hours may be required in emergencies.

Flexible working options, including a mix of office and home-based work, with at least two days per week in the office.
Key Requirements
-
Professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.

Experience working with children and young people with complex needs and disabilities.

Skilled in completing assessments and developing outcome-focused, child-friendly plans.

Team player with the ability to work across disciplines, sharing knowledge and providing support to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.
