Role Overview: Education Consultant (Spanish or Mandarin Speaker)
We are seeking a dedicated Education Consultant (Spanish or Mandarin speaker) to provide high-quality advice and guidance to international students aspiring to study in the UK and other popular destinations. This role involves assisting with the selection of institutions and courses, supporting applicants throughout the admission process, and providing timely updates to prospective students and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality counselling to prospective international students through various channels, including phone, email, messaging apps, and in-person meetings.

Assist with university applications, obtain offers, and facilitate enrolments.

Provide advice on admissions and entry requirements for UK universities.

Follow up on new and existing leads, applications, and offers.

Increase conversion rates at all stages of the student lifecycle, working towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet and exceed recruitment targets.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on topics such as student recruitment, admissions, academics, compliance, trends, and analysis.

Participate in events, including education fairs, workshops, and university familiarisation visits.
Candidate Profile: Education Consultant (Spanish or Mandarin Speaker)

Fluent in English and at least one foreign language (Spanish or Mandarin preferred; speakers of other languages are encouraged to apply).

Experience in international student recruitment or admissions within UK higher education.

Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Proven track record of achieving ambitious targets and KPIs.

Ability to manage a busy workload with tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Excellent telephone manners and impeccable writing skills.

Client-focused team player capable of building and maintaining rapport with diverse audiences.

Bachelor’s degree.
Desirable:

Familiarity with at least one additional international study destination: Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Dubai.

Knowledge or experience of UK higher education.

Experience working for an international education agent.
