Company Overview

Grant Leading Technology (GLT) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team. As a key member of the GLT Finance Team, you will report directly to the Comptroller and play an essential role in our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely processing of all vendor invoices and payments according to agreed-upon terms.

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring services provided are accurately reflected in the GLT accounting system.

  • Process bi-monthly payroll using UKG and enter the corresponding entries into Costpoint.

  • Coordinate payroll registrations with relevant state authorities.

  • Process and administer expense reports promptly.

  • Manage company credit card transactions and reconcile the account on a monthly basis.

  • Assist the Comptroller with the monthly close process for GLT.

  • Analyze Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss G/L accounts, identifying and addressing anomalies or errors.

  • Research accounts as necessary to understand discrepancies and correct any issues.

  • Support the Comptroller during the annual budget preparation process.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

  • 5 to 7 years of accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with strong spreadsheet skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity.

  • 2 to 5 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint.

  • Experience with payroll processing systems.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the country.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous government and government contracting experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with automated reporting/forecasting tools.

  • Experience with UKG Ready (Kronos).
