Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team, responsible for processing accounting transactions, compiling and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger. This role offers extensive exposure to the full accounting cycle and requires a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general accounting processes, internal controls, and financial analysis techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process journal entries and other accounting transactions.

• Handle expense report transactions.

• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.

• Organize and maintain accounting files and records.

• Conduct monthly financial statement analytics.

• Assist with the year-end audit process.

• Participate in special projects aimed at improving accounting efficiency.

• Respond to financial/accounting information requests from various business functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 2-5 years of accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.

• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.

• Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, and Tipalti is a plus.
