Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure: Active and valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of New York.

  • Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and critical thinking abilities to provide compassionate and effective patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments.

  • Continuously monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain precise documentation of clinical outcomes.

  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies to support long-term health.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
