Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to support the health and well-being of individuals.

  • Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications and maintain detailed medical records.

  • Support Daily Living: Assist with daily living activities and help implement individualized health programs.

  • Medical Coordination: Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and provide training to staff on health maintenance practices.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all regulatory and organizational protocols.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, support staff, and families to effectively implement care plans.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program.

  • Licensure: Valid and active LPN license in the State of New Jersey.

  • Experience: Minimum of one year working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including experience with electronic medical records.

  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a genuine commitment to compassionate care.

  • Other Requirements: Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
