Position Summary

Tradeweb is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Data Analyst to support its US Credit Sales team. This role is central to interpreting trading data, building internal and client-facing reports, and delivering actionable insights to enhance strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will be analytically driven, exceptionally organized, and confident working in a fast-paced, data-centric environment. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders—Sales, Product, and senior leadership—to develop robust dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical models that enable more informed business decisions and deepen client engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting tools that generate meaningful insights for sales teams and external clients.

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, coordinating with data and business teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Analyze business performance data to identify key trends and opportunities for strategic focus.

  • Respond to ad hoc data requests, reprioritizing quickly and effectively to support evolving needs.

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and leadership teams to design and refine data-driven solutions that align with business goals.

  • Modernize legacy reporting systems, ensuring compliance with data governance, legal, and marketing standards.

  • Build interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau for both internal and client-facing use.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 4–6 years of experience in a data analytics or reporting-focused role.

  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau (minimum 2 years of experience), Excel, and SQL.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights in a clear, impactful way.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a high-performance environment.

  • Self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

  • Experience working with large datasets and an understanding of relational databases.

  • Python experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of or exposure to Fixed Income Markets is highly desirable.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000–$180,000/year (based on qualifications and experience)
