What You’ll Do

  • Take the lead in acquiring new business for Hub Group’s retail consolidation programs.

  • Identify, engage, and close deals with suppliers, manufacturers, and importers shipping to major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Costco, and others.

  • Clearly communicate the benefits of retail consolidation, including cost savings on transportation, improved On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance, enhanced inventory management, and simplified inbound compliance.

  • Manage the entire sales process—from lead generation and needs discovery to solution development, pricing, proposal presentation, and closing.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including network design, pricing, operations, and implementation to create customized consolidation solutions.

  • Maintain and grow a strategic sales pipeline by leveraging data, market insights, and marketing resources.

  • Stay updated on evolving retailer requirements, OTIF penalties, routing guide modifications, and trends affecting the CPG and retail supply chains.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new revenue goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in 3PL, transportation, retail logistics, or supply chain solutions.

  • Deep understanding of retail consolidation models and vendor-to-retailer shipping programs.

  • Experience selling to or working with shippers supplying big-box or omnichannel retailers.

  • Proven success in building pipelines and closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to engage confidently with all organizational levels—from supply chain managers to executives.

  • Strong professionalism, resilience, and a results-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and sales engagement tools.

Salary Range: $101,000 – $118,000 base salary per year, with eligibility for additional incentives and equity programs.
