Working across our Exeter and Torquay offices, you’ll be part of a fun, collaborative BD & marketing team of 16, helping to deliver exciting projects that drive growth and build relationships. From organising high-profile events to supporting sales proposals and lead generation, this is a brilliant stepping stone into the world of professional services.

Hybrid working is available, but regular in-office presence is key to learning and collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and deliver client events, seminars, and networking sessions—from planning logistics to post-event follow-ups

  • Generate creative ideas for corporate hospitality initiatives

  • Conduct market and competitor research to support strategic decision-making

  • Assist with lead qualification and opportunity tracking across the firm’s business units

  • Support the proposal process and track success metrics (wins, losses, feedback)

  • Organise BD meetings, managing action points and follow-ups

  • Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and uncovering insights

  • Create reports and dashboards to track business development performance

  • Help strengthen relationships with referrers and monitor event and campaign budgets

  • Collaborate across departments on wider marketing and BD projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal

  • Good time management and organisational abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn

  • Ability to travel between offices and attend off-site events as needed
