About the Job
ECLARO is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a leading technology solutions provider in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructures, primarily within Cisco wireless environments. The engineer will handle SD-WAN deployments, collaborate closely with security teams, troubleshoot large-scale network issues, and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain routing, switching, and wireless networks.

Manage SD-WAN implementation and optimization.

Collaborate with security teams to integrate network security.
-
Monitor network performance and resolve issues.
-
Lead network upgrades and expansions.
-
Provide expert guidance and documentation.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-
5+ years as a Network Engineer with strong Cisco wireless expertise.
-
Deep knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking and SD-WAN.
-
Skilled in network troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
-
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred:
-
CCNA/CCNP certifications.
-
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Strong project management and consulting skills.
Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly pay: $70 – $75
