About the Role:
Orange Property is seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Multitrader to take responsibility for day-to-day progress on a variety of refurbishment, restoration, and new build projects. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll manage tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring all works meet the highest quality standards and project deadlines.
You’ll be part of a close-knit, family-led company that values enthusiasm, craftsmanship, and teamwork. This role demands strong all-round building skills and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and carry out a wide range of building trades including framing, tacking, skimming, external rendering, minor guttering, roofing repairs, and groundworks

Work accurately from plans and specifications on refurbishment, new build, and restoration projects

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on site

Communicate progress and any issues to the Operations Manager

Collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors to deliver seamless project execution
Essential Requirements:

Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Multitrader in the building and construction industry

Self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic with strong problem-solving skills
-
Own essential tools and a full, clean UK driving licence

Eligible to work in the UK and able to commute within 60 minutes of central Brighton

Physically fit with willingness to work overtime as needed
Ideal Skill Set:
-
Experience in wet trades including framing, tacking, skimming, external rendering and repairs

Ability to perform external repairs such as minor guttering and roofing

Skilled in groundworks and external maintenance
Beneficial Qualifications:

NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications

Asbestos Awareness certificate (preferred)

Health & Safety and First Aid certifications
