About the Role
Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team. New graduates are encouraged to apply. As a therapist, you will set clear expectations for patients’ clinical progress, deliver treatments as planned, and provide essential resources such as Home Exercise Programs. We expect our therapists to uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence while delivering exceptional 5-star customer service. Qualifications:

Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Physical Demands:
This role requires manual dexterity and physical endurance consistent with industry standards, including:

Lifting 5-35 lbs routinely from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead

Carrying 5-10 lbs for distances of 40-50 feet

Pushing loads of 5-150 lbs using casters, runners, or pulleys

Sustaining a grip of 40-50 lbs for 1-2 minutes

Guarding lifts of 120-140 lbs routinely
