Role Overview

CoStar Group provides real-time, verified commercial real estate data that empowers clients to identify valuable opportunities and make informed decisions ahead of the competition. By leveraging the strength of CoStar’s independent research team—the largest in the industry—along with global data delivery, software, and application solutions, clients gain the confidence to act decisively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the transfer of data between systems and data stores, ensuring data integrity, necessary transformations, timely execution, and thorough documentation.

  • Analyze and design enhancements to existing system integrations to improve performance and meet evolving business needs.

  • Evaluate newly acquired or procured systems, collaborating with business and technical teams to define functional and technical requirements for integration with existing systems—primarily Oracle Fusion ERP.

  • Work closely with system integration tool administrators and fellow integration analysts to maintain and improve integration processes.

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve integration processing errors by developing effective solutions.

  • Apply rigorous quality assurance to data analysis and the testing of new data transformation applications.

  • Maintain clean, consistent, and accurate data across systems.

  • Collaborate with data providers, internal clients, and support teams to identify data issues and recommend improvements.

  • Support business system migrations, integration of data related to acquisitions, system consolidations, and process improvements.

  • Manipulate and transform large datasets within databases to troubleshoot issues and perform thorough data analyses.

  • Establish and monitor alerts, notifications, and metrics related to all data integrations.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated commitment to previous employers.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a financial or business analyst.

  • At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and executing system integrations, ideally in a developer or administrator role with Oracle ICS/OIC and Oracle ERP (preference for Oracle Cloud ERP over Oracle EBS).

  • Strong proficiency in Oracle PaaS integration tools (ICS/OIC). Experience with other integration platforms such as EiPaaS, ETL tools, sFTP, SSIS, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, or Informatica is a plus.

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP base tables and interface tables.

  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom OTBI and BI Publisher reports used in integrations.

  • Advanced SQL skills for handling large datasets and translating user requirements into technical specifications.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Pivot, Power Query, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and VBA.

  • Solid understanding of data systems, relationships, and data modeling—particularly with Oracle Cloud ERP.

  • Strong grasp of business operations, processes, objectives, and information flows.


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.

  • Proven ability to analyze raw data files and compare them with transformed data to identify processing issues.

  • Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills to solve business challenges and make informed decisions.

  • Experience in service industries such as advertising, marketing, leasing, commercial finance, or subscriptions is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clearly conveying complex data insights.

  • Effective time management and project prioritization skills.

  • Experience working collaboratively with internal clients to resolve issues promptly and thoroughly.

  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and IT General Controls (ITGC).

  • Proficiency with reporting and BI tools such as Oracle OTBI, FRS, OAC, BICS, SQL-based tools (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
