Position Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-oriented Ready-Mix Truck Driver to join our team. In this key role, you will operate mixer trucks to deliver concrete to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites. As the frontline representative of our company, you will ensure prompt, courteous service while maintaining high safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate ready-mix trucks to deliver concrete to various job sites.

Build rapport with customers by providing timely, courteous, and professional service.

Accurately maintain delivery logs including mileage, hours, and fuel usage.

Coordinate with dispatchers and site managers to optimize delivery schedules.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report mechanical issues promptly.

Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.

Assist in unloading and guiding the placement of concrete.

Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws as well as company safety protocols.

Maintain compliance with PPE and respirator safety requirements when applicable.

Support a safety-first culture and report all incidents, near-misses, or hazards.
Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record (FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance required).

Previous ready-mix driving or related construction delivery experience preferred.

Ability to read maps and navigate Whatcom County and Bellingham efficiently.

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform work at heights or in varying conditions.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe vehicle operation.

Willingness to work various shifts including weekends as needed.

Basic mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance checks.
