About the Role: Senior Accountant

At Amperity, we help global brands like Alaska Airlines and DICK’S Sporting Goods unlock the full value of their customer data through our AI-powered Customer Data Cloud. As a fast-growing company at the intersection of AI, data, and customer experience, we’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join our General Ledger team and support our mission of driving business impact with speed and accuracy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead daily and monthly accounting operations, including month-, quarter-, and year-end close

  • Prepare and review reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial integrity

  • Consolidate financials and support the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements

  • Analyze expenses and variances to provide strategic insights during close cycles

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and GL alignment

  • Support budget-to-actual analysis and proper accounting treatment for contracts

  • Manage cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable approvals

  • Drive process improvements, automation, and internal control enhancements

  • Support audits and lead key initiatives, including accounting system upgrades and new standard implementations

About You:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or public accounting

  • CPA preferred

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and close processes

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Effective communicator and team player in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Experienced with NetSuite or similar ERP; Excel and Google Workspace proficiency

  • Passionate about continuous improvement and learning
