About the Job

Varex Imaging Corporation, a global leader in X-ray imaging components, is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to support our worldwide operations in Salt Lake City. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will play a key role in managing indirect tax compliance and supporting tax reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with advisors to prepare sales & use tax returns and unclaimed property filings

  • Prepare business license, property tax, and other state/local tax returns

  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual global tax provisions using OneSource Tax Provision software

  • Support U.S. and state tax return preparation using OneSource Income Tax software

  • Research and document U.S. federal and state tax issues

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of tax provision and/or compliance experience

  • Experience with a public company or large accounting firm

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP data mining, especially SAP

  • Familiarity with Avalara, sales/use/property taxes

  • Knowledge of US GAAP

  • Experience with OneSource Tax software and manufacturing industry a plus
