Steadily, one of the fastest-growing U.S. insurtech companies, is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis to join our dynamic Finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and want your work to shape company strategy, this role is for you.
Role Overview
Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll play a critical role in scaling operations, providing data-driven insights to leadership, and ensuring financial integrity as we expand into new markets and products.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights that inform strategic decisions.

Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Enhance accounting processes for premium accounting, accounts receivable, and payable.

Build scalable systems to support growth into new states and product lines.

Support external audits and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

4+ years in public accounting or fast-growing startups.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and full close process.

Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Experience with Sage Intacct and familiarity with P&C insurance or financial services a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $110K – $125K plus equity.
