Position Summary

What You’ll Do

As a Staff Pharmacist at Sam’s Club, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care by accurately processing and dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, offering healthcare counseling, and maintaining compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards regarding controlled substances and documentation.

You will also guide and support your pharmacy team by modeling and reinforcing exceptional member service practices to ensure member needs, concerns, and issues are addressed effectively and within company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized patient care by accurately filling prescriptions, counseling members on medication and health needs, and administering immunizations.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to associates, ensuring they deliver outstanding member service and adhere to Sam’s Club’s values and protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws by reviewing reports, implementing safety and loss prevention measures, and overseeing quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation as required by company policies and applicable laws.

  • Pay Range

  • Hourly wage: $47.12 – $82.69*

  • Additional premiums may apply based on location, shift, duties, or seasonal needs (ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour)

*Actual rate will meet or exceed minimum wage requirements applicable to the job location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), or foreign equivalent (FPGEC via NABP)

  • Active pharmacy license (required by start date)

  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or state-sponsored program)
