The Opportunity

Join Kraken to lead the development and execution of our engagement and loyalty product strategy across both Kraken and Kraken Pro. In this role, you will shape the product roadmap to align with our growth ambitions and broader business objectives.

You will own critical engagement metrics such as customer retention, session frequency, and lifetime value (LTV), driving initiatives that enhance user utility, foster repeat engagement, and build habit-forming behaviors.

From ideation and validation to launch and iteration, you’ll manage the entire product lifecycle. You’ll build features that drive deeper user interaction through gamification, rewards, social functionality, and other behavior-driven mechanics.

Working closely with Engineering, Design, and Analytics, you’ll conduct large-scale A/B and multivariate tests, using the results to make fast, data-informed decisions. You’ll also partner with Marketing and Lifecycle teams to design personalized, behavior-based messaging strategies across channels like push notifications, in-app messages, and email.

You’ll help build robust segmentation models that tailor user experiences and optimize customer journeys. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with leaders across the Consumer and Pro business units to ensure product strategies align with user needs, market trends, and business goals.


What You Bring (Skills You Should HODL)

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on engagement, retention, or lifecycle growth—ideally in crypto or fintech

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Experience in growth product management, including funnel optimization, A/B testing, and applying behavioral psychology principles

  • Proven success launching engagement-focused features such as loyalty/rewards systems, notification frameworks, or social/community tools

  • Experience developing for both mobile and web platforms and the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams

  • Deep empathy for users paired with strong commercial awareness

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of influencing across all levels of the organization

  • Passion for Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem, along with a strong alignment with Kraken’s mission
